Plants have either been pot-grown or are bareroot transplants. Their plastic pots have been removed and the roots have been carefully wrapped in paper to reduce plastic packaging. Bareroot plants have had their roots wrapped in moss to keep them moist until they are delivered. Tender plants are packed with their pots to make growing on when they are delivered easier.
On receiving you plants, unpack from their box and stand them upright and give them a light water. Hardy plants can be planted outside or potted up into a suitable pot. Any bareroot plants that have their root wrapped in moss should have it cleaned off and either potted or planted out into the ground. Keep the soil watered until established.
Seeds come with recommended sowing instructions whether they need to be grown in spring, summer or autumn and require a period of cold weather to break their dormancy.
The Passionate Growers Guide to Herb Gardening is available for delivery at any time and gives guidance on the many herbs we grow.

Packaging – herb plants will be labelled and wrapped in paper with any plastic pots removed to reduce plastic packaging.
