A creeping perennial which is native to Tibet, western Sichuan and south-east Ganzu. It can be found growing in sub-alpine and sub-arctic areas from 2500 to 4500 meters. Growing to 30cm it has purple/blue flowers. It is used in Tibetan medicine for coughs, fevers and sore throats. Grow in a rock garden and allow to creep around.
