From the Andes, orange-red trumpet flowers and attractive yellow/red tubers. These have a peppery flavour when fresh, but vanilla-like when cooked. The leaves are also tasty in salad. Grow like a potato either to trail along the ground or climb up a support. Supplied as 3 loose tubers in the spring and autumn.
