TEA TREE
£7.50
A traditional Australian aboriginal remedy well known for its aromatic antiseptic properties, being effective against bacterial and fungal infections as well as having several cosmetic uses. The fresh leaf may be rubbed onto stings, skin infections and abrasions; an inhaled infusion helps relieve coughs and colds. It may be either grown in a large container and brought in for the winter, or allowed to develop into a large shrub in a sheltered site outdside. It is hardy here growing by a south facing wall.
